The Surface Laptop; Microsoft Combines Elegance with Performance

Even though we have seen it all from Microsoft when it released tablets with kickstands, expensive desktops and laptops with detachable tablet screens, it really didn’t convince us all to use a new kind of computer. But FINALLY, we think Microsoft is on its right course to attract us and keep us hooked. A powerful enough laptop to run all your apps, a thin enough structure to carry around  with high-resolution screen and an impressive keyboard at a reasonable price, the Surface Laptop might just be the next-generation’s first choice.

The rumours reveal us three things. First, the Surface Laptop resembles MacBook Air. Second, the Surface Laptop has fabric on it. And the third, the laptop is said to run on a limited version called Windows 10 S.

The Surface Laptop Hardware

Striking a precise balance between portability, performance and the power, the Surface Laptop looks remarkably like what MacBook Air did in second-generation 2010. However, it is not entirely fair to think the Surface Laptop resembles an Air, because it comes in different colours and in fabric. Also, when Air and almost every other laptop is aiming for soft lines and gentle curves in their shapes, the Surface Laptop aims for the angularity.

Another remarkable difference between the two is the 13.5 touchscreen with a big, beautiful pixel-dense feature.

The Surface Pen

The laptop is said to be compatible with the Surface Pen which is sold separately. The screen does not seem to fold flat so that you will only want to use it for quick things.
